Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Track Cut (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Track Cut mobile application (the “App”) on iPhone and iPad. It also explains choices you may have regarding your information.

We design the App so that most creative and AI-assisted video tools run on your device. We collect only what we need to operate the App, improve reliability, offer subscriptions, and (where you allow) show ads.

We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may process the following categories of information:

A. Device and usage information

When you use the App, certain technical data may be collected automatically, including:

B. Photos, videos, and content you choose

System media pickers. To import or export content, the App uses Apple’s standard photo and camera pickers. We receive access only to the items you explicitly select. The App does not browse your entire photo library on its own.

On-device editing. Videos and photos you edit—including blur, cutout effects, filters, overlays, text, music, colorize, upscale, and related tools—are processed on your device unless this Policy states otherwise. We do not upload your edited media to our servers for those on-device features.

Saving exports. If you grant permission, the App may save exported photos or videos to your photo library. That permission is used only to store content you choose to keep.

C. Purchases and subscriptions

Premium access and subscriptions are handled through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment; we do not receive your card details. We may receive limited purchase-related data (such as product identifiers, subscription status, and receipt validation information) to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.

D. Support and correspondence

If you contact us, we receive the information you provide (such as your email address and message content) so we can respond.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

3. On-device artificial intelligence (AI)

Track Cut includes AI-assisted editing features that run locally on your device, including tools such as video blur (face, background, object, and manual regions), AI cutout-style effects, colorize, upscale, and related enhancement workflows.

If we introduce new AI capabilities in the future, we will describe any material change in data handling in an updated version of this Policy.

4. Advertising and tracking

The App may show ads through Google AdMob. Ad partners may use device identifiers and usage data (where permitted) to serve and measure ads.

On supported iOS versions, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before using the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for cross-app tracking. If you deny tracking, the App will not access IDFA for that purpose; you may still see ads, which may be less personalized.

You can change tracking preferences anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

5. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to help operate the App. They process data under their own policies:

We are not responsible for third-party sites or services linked from the App.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics and crash data may be kept for a limited time to improve the App.

Media you edit on-device remains under your control on your device. We do not permanently store your photos or videos on our servers for on-device AI processing.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, email trackcutios@gmail.com. We may ask for information to verify your request.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at trackcutios@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We aim to respond within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days where applicable law requires it.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information as defined under those laws.

10. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
